TTM Rail was founded in March 1996 by Bill Khojasteh-Bakht, after dedicating 23 years to the rolling stock industry as an electrical engineer. Throughout his 23 year career, he worked his way up to become the rolling stock maintenance manager, gaining a vast amount of hands on and management experience in electrical rolling stock maintenance, repairs, design, testing and commissioning. He has successfully utilised his invaluable engineering experience in moving TTM Rail from one strength to the next.
Remaining an Australian, family owned and operated company, TTM Rail continues to grow, satisfying our customers and ultimately expanding further into the Australian rolling stock industry every year.
At TTM Rail, we are passionate about quality. We are continually reviewing our processes and procedures to identify and implement any improvements which could be made to constantly improve on our already high standard of quality products and services. In line with our ongoing efforts to continuously improve quality, we are certified with an ISO 9001:2008 certification.
As part of our active continuous efforts to contribute to the rolling stock engineering industry of Australia, we have been a corporate member of the Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA) since 2008. The Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA) is a joint Technical Society of Engineers Australia and IPENZ New Zealand, and is considered a learned society which promotes excellence in the application and practice of railway technology and management.
